The progressive correction feature increases correction to the next strongest level if the dog continues to bark, and the safety time out will shut off the correction for 3 minutes if the dog barks more than 15 times in 30 seconds. A vibration sensor is used to sense barking. It is not recommended to use the collar for more than 8 hours at a time.
